Hello everyone,
If I leave the page (Service Status) open in my web browser, I get a timeout after a certain time. The message is "Your session has timed out." followed by a white screen. If I press F5 (refresh) then I get to see the servers again.
Anyone have an idea how I can make sure the page refreshes automatically?
Thanks in advance,
Peter-Hans.

Re: Webbrowser: Your session has timed out.
Hi Peter-Hans,
How are you doing?
If you have not been doing anything on the page for a set length of time (often 10-30 minutes), the server times out your session.
Inactivity timers were created for security reasons. For example, if you were browsing the page and got up to leave, you'd need to log in again and create a new session when you returned.
If you like, you can try increase your "Screen" settings on your laptop/desktop as showed below.
Best Regards,
Vinh

Re: Webbrowser: Your session has timed out.
Good morning Vinh,
It has nothing to do with the energy settings, it also occurs at fixed workplaces.
Is it possible to turn off the inactivity timers? We have several screens open and I refer my colleagues to this link:
https://server.domain.nl/nagiosxi/inclu ... up=01_Prod
After a certain time if my colleagues do something else they have to log in again.

Hi Peter-Hans,
Good morning ...
I checked with my team and here's what they suggested:
Open Nagios XI GUI > Admin > System Settings > click "Security" tab
Now, you should see a "Session Cookie Settings" section.
Click the "Keep Alive" check box.
Best Regards,
Vinh
