Hi,
As we have some large Nagios environments, we use mod_gearman and gearmand with > 100 gearman workers to do the distributed monitoring of our environment.
As we have several issues, ( orphaned checks, etc. ) I keep to monitor the development of mod_gearman, gearmand and other repositories.
Today I saw at the https://github.com/sni/mod_gearman repository something that concerns me:
" drop nagios 3, nagios 4 and icinga 1 support "
Is this repository indeed the upstream for mod_gearman found in the the nagios_base repository?
What will happen with mod_gearman when the development team will stop supporting nagios 4 in mod_gearman?
kind regards,
Joris Weijters

Re: github: sni/mod_gearman: drop nagios 4 support ?
Hi Joris,
We don't direct or control what happens with mod_rearman. I suggest you contact some of the support
links found on the github page to see what the plans for mod_gearman are.
Thanks
