Might have gotten missed when configuring dark mode. I assume the text color should be something other than white.

Yes, unfortunately there are still some styling issues floating around when operating in Dark Mode.
Part of the move to Nagios XI 6 is revamping the styling and replacing most of the stylesheets with ones that work better with dark mode. It's in the works, but it's not ready yet.

No, it's not preventing the upgrade from completing; because it's just a style on the page. The style itself has nothing to do with what's going on with the upgrade.

I've reported this to the dev team, and they tell me it'll be fixed in release 5.8.6.
