Performance data y axis scale

Post by LMillerD »

(Using CentOS 7 64-bit; XI installed manually, no special configurations).

I have seen forum posts from 2010 to earlier this year complaining about the missing ability to set fixed min and max y axis values on performance graphs. Is this basic feature still missing 10+ years later? None of the posts I read received quality answers before getting locked. (So staff, please don't lock this post prematurely!) :?

My team needs daily reports on performance data, and having the axis scale change all the time makes it difficult to compare past reports to each other. It also takes the people reading the reports longer to interpret the information.

Some data sets just need to be plotted 0-100 at all times! If you felt the same way and discovered a solution, please let me know how you solved this problem.

Hi,

The functionality you are looking for is not available at this time. Feature requests have been submitted
to add this ability to the product. Please keep in mind that the decision to implement an enhancement is at
the discretion of our development team. In this case ensuring backward compatibility with all the supplied
and user created plugins makes this effort less trivial than it seems.

You can look for alternative solutions on Nagios Exchange:
1.https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/A ... d-Trending
2. https://exchange.nagios.org/directory/T ... ing-Series

I will leave this unlocked so other users can add any solutions they came up with.

Thanks
