i have observed that sometimes we receive alerts from NagiOS with status as follows.

Info:
(Return code of 139 is out of bounds)

In this case, if we login and and check on the server, there is around 20 GB free on server Host: out of 32 GB.
This is well below the threshold, but still NagiOS has generated Critical Alert.

Same thing applies to D drive, where info mentioned as Return Code of 139, but disk space utilization is above 90 % threshold.
what is root cause for such false alerts & how can i rectify

Hello Intinfo, may I ask what Operating System you are running? If you are using NSClient++ on a windows server could you also post the log file in here?

You may do this by opening the NSC.log file located in your NSClient++'s main install directory. If you are using version 4.x it will be called nsclient.log.

some changes had been done in nsclient file. corrected the same.
