New to this - adding LINUX servers to Nagios XI
Re: New to this - adding LINUX servers to Nagios XI
Hi,
I suggest you use NCPA to monitor your Linux servers. I made a video showing how to do
this here: There are other alternatives as well, for example there is our nrpe method (which has
been deprecated), and of course you can monitor any of the SNMP oids available on
the remote server.
Let me know if you have issues configuring the server.
If you are not a customer yet, but are running a trial version of Nagios XI
you are entitled to a Quick Start session. Please see:
https://www.nagios.com/services/quickstart/
for details.
Please let me know how things go.
Thank you
