We setup escalations to notify on critical and recovery only - no warning levels
The reason behind this is because we try to action the alert in warning... and if that fails the critical catches it
Unfortunately the client receives the "recovery" email when we fix things in warning - even though they got no "critical" - we need a way of telling escalations to only send recovery emails if its recovering from a critical
I'm pretty sure there is a macro for "previous service state" so the system does know what it is... could be a simple addition of an extra button under 'Escalation Options', i.e. "Ok from critical" "Ok from warning"
Can I get a feature request for this?
Or has anyone came up with a smart workaround for this issue?

Re: Stop Recovery notifications for warnings
The system should only send a recovery notification if they received the problem email.
What XI version are you running? You can find it on the bottom left-hand side of the web interface after logging in.
Can you PM me a copy of your profile.zip from Admin > System Profile? If so, include the contact that received the Warning notification but shouldn't have.
