Email alerts even with host/vm removal...

I am running the server to simply monitor my VM hosts and the machines.
I have 7 hosts in total, and added each individual host to be monitored, including all the vms within each host.
I removed all of the hosts and VMS from the Host and Services configuration, re-added only one of the hosts, yet, I still get email alerts for all of the deleted hosts/vms.
Please help in trying to figure this out.
I also noticed when trying to re-add the one host, it showed all of the deleted hosts in the "pick a parent" option.

Were you able to apply configuration successfully? Do you get any errors when you run the Write Config Tool?
