Hello,

Anyone knows how I can stop the alerting between CRITICAL state changes? More specifically, when a host is down, I don't want to get notified for a state change to unreachable or vice versa, is this possible?

Hi @coitop,

This may not be exactly what you are looking for, but there is an option in Core Config Manager -> Hosts or Services, when you select a host or service, to select specific notification options (e.g. only for a "down" or "unreachable" state or both "down" and "unreachable") under the Alert Settings tab. Additionally, you can set these settings for specific contact groups.

I knew about this solution but it's fine. I'll figure it out somehow and if I can't implement it, it's fine I guess. Was just looking if it exists or not.
