I have just done a reinstall of my nagios server.
We restored from our backup, but it seems that my plugins did not make the trip. is there anyway that i can restore them and their dependencies? or can I pull them from the backup server?

Also my back up server kicks in when my main server dies. last night the performance monitor and the monitoring engine stopped working.

When I restarted all of the services, my backup server has begun to flood my users with the emails it would have sent so I have disabled notifications. How can I renenbler them without nagios resending the notifications?

Can you elaborate a little bit more on "my plugins did not make the trip"? You don't have any plugins in the libexec directory or you have them but they don't work? Can you run the following command in terminal and post the output?

I would suggest fixing the plugins issue before enabling notifications. The alerts that are already in the mailing queue will be sent anyway though.
