I am trying to setup nsclient++ on a windows 7 box. I am getting to the box by ping but the other services (CPU Usage, Disk Usage, Memory Usage, Uptime) are not working and show a status of Connection refused. I have disabled the windows firewall on this machine with no change. The nagios xi server is located at a secure facility on a different network. We are connected to it through a secure vpn tunnel. I have several other windows servers on the local network that are communicating just fine with the nagios server so I don't think it is the main firewall either. I have double checked the NSC.ini file and the allowed host has been set to the ip of the nagios xi server AND the gateway. I have run nsclient++ /test and there do not seem to be any errors. I don't know where else to look. Here is the info on our Nagios server
1. CentOS release 5.4 final - Nagios XI 2009R1.4
2. 32 bit
3. esxi 5 image install.

Re: Connection Refused
Try to send a check through from the Nagios terminal and then open your NSClient++'s log file which is located in the main install directory, should be titled nsclient.log if you have version 3.x. "If this is possible, you had mentioned a separate location."
