Storing hiistorical data locally and remote

Post by rvalenti »

Hi all,

We would like to have the following scenario: some nagiosxi servers on remote offices, with they own servers and services, they store historical data on their local mysql databases. In adition we would like to have those records stored also in a central nagiosxi server.

Any idea on how to achieve that ? May be NDOutils can store locally and in adition send to a remote server?

Thank you in advance !

Easiest way would be to setup Inbound/Outbound transfers in the Admin area.

Setup Inbound on the central server, then use that data to setup outbound transfers from each of the other XI servers.

Then periodically on the central check the Admin -> Unconfigured Objects to add items to the central that haven't been configured yet.
