Mac OS X NRPE Agent install problems

Hello, I am attempting to run the NRPE agent install on one of our 10.6.8 servers and I have followed the instructions listed here. http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... _Agent.pdf

I have installed xcode and the commandline tools and server admin. Then I went to the next step and ran the sudo ./fullinstall. Then I get this:

Starting NRPE Agent
launchctl start error: No such process

what GID is it trying to use there? Seems like that first step is the failing one.
