New install No cfg files

Hi I have just downloaded the current install file and went well but none of the config files are in the etc directory i.e., contacttemplates.cfg etc how are normally generated ??

These files are created by NagiosQL, there is a write files tool in it's web interface the(CCM). This is known to happen on 64bit operating systems, when postgress doesn't start. We recommend using 32bit OS.

The postgress service is running and I am using a 32 bit Red Hat 5.4 OS

I have now cleared the box down and reinstalled linux and nagios all is well but now I appear to have problems installing nagvis and mentos it would appear that when I try to connect to the subdomin I dont always get a clean connection ?? or get connection refused
