Apply configuration - slow - then process state stopped

Hi

I am having an issue where it takes for ever to complied the configuration

once it has complied the 'process state' is stooped, and sometimes if you wait 5 mins it will go active again other times it does not.

Its not like there is a huge amount of hosts 320, with 340 service checks (most are checks reused across multiple hosts via service/host groups)

This sounds like there could be circular references.

Go to Configure -> Core Config Manager -> Tools -> Write Config Tool

And click the top 3 go buttons from the top down looking for errors/warnings.

If you have no errors you can click the 4th button.
