Request: I would like the Quick Find search functionality to be able to search the display_name directive for both host and service objects.
I wish to use the display_name directive to store information such as the router location and purpose of router. I do not want to have to include all of this information in the host_name directive.
Currently it appears that the display_name directive is searchable from the Host Detail menu, I wish to be able to search for this information from the Home tab “Quick Find”.
The attached zip file contains a PDF that explains what I am trying to achieve with lots of pictures.
