I want to change the alert messages, NagiosXI seems only one place to change that from "Configure>More Options>My Account Settings>Notification Options>Notification Messages", but not work?!

Customizing the notification message will only work if your contact is also an XI user and they're using the xi_host/service_notification handler. Did you create your contacts with the Admin->Manage users page, or through the Core Config Manager?

I create contacts through Manage Users.

Do you mean I have to use different contact name login to NagiosXI to change alert message for each one?
I just made a test and it work, but I wonder if there is an easy way to setup once?

Each user has the option to modify his/her notification preferences. In order for you to modify the notification preferences of a particular users, you must log is as this user. The easiest way to do this, is via "masquerading":

Admin->Manage Users-><user in question>->Masquerade As->Continue->Configure->My Account Settings->Notification Messages->make a change->Update Settings

Got it, it's almost the same as logout and login.

Also worth noting, that our upcoming 2012 Enterprise Edition will allow admins to create notification message templates and deploy them to users or contact groups.
