Ok, this looks like notifications will be disabled permenently untill i enable them.

I am trying to disable notifications at a particlar time, lets say i want to disable notifications only from 2AM to 3AM.

Can we do that ?

I am asking this because few of my filesystems reach 100% ( May be) at that time and come down.

Currently, this is not possible. However, this would be easily done in Nagios XI 2012.

You can use scheduled downtime to disable the notifications. You can create a downtime schedule or a recurring downtime schedule, which will suppress any alerts during the downtime window. I think that would be a much simpler solution.

cool i was actually thinking about this.

So if i schedule down time does it give me any alerts saying downtime is scheduled ?

If it does'nt produce any alerts regarding downtime itself this could be my temperory solution.

An alert is generated when a service starts downtime, but you can disable them through
Configure -> My Account Settings -> Notification Preferences
Uncheck Host Downtime: & Service Downtime:
