NSClient++ agent installation on Windows Server

Post by MSPk »

HI,

Can we install NSClient++ agent on the windows server which is already being monitored by BMC tool and has a BMC agent installed on it? As we need BMC to monitor the server till nagios goes live. Are there any pre-requisites we need to take care before we do this?

As long as they don't listen on the same ports there should be no issue in using both at same time.

NSC installs easily and no pre-reqs that I can think of.

BanditBBS is correct. Nothing else I can think of that would cause problems.
