I've inherited a Nagio XI instance and am trying to clean things up a bit. In the process, I wanted to add our switches in - mostly to just watch the trunk ports. We have Auth/Priv strings setup for SNMP v3 and that appears to work. When I enter that information in the wizard along with an IP address for the switch, it returns the list of all ports available and the check boxes to select which ports/checks to run.
All good so far! When I select "Next", it jumps back to the main wizard screen with no errors or other indications, just allows you to select more wizards to create more checks. It should proceed to at least one more screen where you can schedule the timing for the checks but that screen never shows up.
Please assist.
Switch Wizard Error
Re: Switch Wizard Error
Hey @AngeloMileto
Sorry you are dealing with this, I've never heard of this happening to someone. I know you said you inherited the instance however was this working prior and you did an upgrade and now it no longer works? This seems like it will need some trouble shooting so it may be best for you to open a support ticket so they can trouble shoot your specific issue. It is likely that they will need a system profile from you which you can get in the ui under Admin->System Config->System Profile.

Hi @AngeloMileto,
If you could also provide the distro your XI is running on, the XI version, and any php errors you are getting, that would help us diagnose your problem.
Thank you!
