I see a lot of feature requests generated in this forum. Is there anywhere that XI's users can see the list of feature requests? If not, it might be helpful to Nagios development efforts to offer such, along with the ability to up-vote, and even comment on them. It could help you to see which are priority features for your customers. The comments could also help clarify the features/behavior of requests, instead of Nagios assuming it understands what the customer intended. You might be able to leverage this BB by adding a separate forum under Nagios XI, and using the "Thanks for Posts" extension (https://www.phpbb.com/customise/db/exte ... r_posts_2/
Thanks for considering.

Re: Feature Requests Visibility?
Hi @gregbeyer,
Thanks for that suggestion.
There's a couple of ideas in your post.
First, internally we have something of a continual discussion about good ways to take/show/track feature requests, and voting and public-facing do routinely come up. At the moment we track all these in our internal systems, and we do our best to identify when an idea is essentially similar to a previously recorded idea, and increment the weight of that issue -- or make a new issue. I'm not saying we couldn't do it better, or that there might not be a better way.
Second, you are entirely correct that good requirements are essential to creating satisfactory results. We are sometimes able to work with customers and partners directly on their feature requests, though certainly not always -- and sometimes the request is very straightforward and we're able to get to good results fairly directly. Hopefully everyone posting a feature request provides as much detail as possible.
Again, thanks for your thoughts.
Aaron
