Are you having issues with NRPE not starting on reboot?

Try running:

Code: Select all

startsrc -s nrpe
Reboot the server and see if nrpe will start automatically.

Hope this helps.

Are these all AIX 7 (unsupported version) servers?

Yes it is unsupported version but i have only one AIX 5.3 server.

Nagios is not starting on this also after the reboot.

Regarding AIX 7.1, its base is 6.1 so there sould not be any difference between them.

Please let me know if you reqiure any information from my end

Thank You!

To be completely clear, you used the NRPE AIX installer on which server, the 5.3, 7.1, or 6.1? Or all of them, just want to clear this up to get a fresh perspective.
