Hostgroup Notification?

I need to setup notification if any of 27 hosts in a HG goes down. It doesn't seem possible to do this -- seems notification must be setup for each host. Looking at CCM / Hostgroup, hostgroup management has no alerting or notification options, only HG name, alias URLs and host/hg membership.

Am I missing something? Pretty tedious to setup notifications for 27 nodes individually. Thanks.

Found what I was missing. Create Host Template, assign hostgroup, etc, etc. Alert Settings (contacts & cont. groups)
