Okta Integration

Post by matson-itops »

I understand that in early 2020 there was a feature request for OKTA integration with Nagios. Can anyone provide an update on this ?
I'm seeing some 3rd party custom plugins, but wondering if there is something official.

Unfortunately we do not currently have anything in the works for OTKA integration. We do have SSO in the works with Azure AD.

If you'd like for Nagios XI to have an OKTA integration for SSO or for mail, you can file a ticket with Nagios Support by scrolling on support.nagios.com until you find Access The Customer Support Portal and submitting a ticket. This would increase the priority from something I'd like to do someday to something that's actively on the TODO list.

We’d also like to express interest in Okta integration for Nagios XI,stickman hook specifically for SSO functionality. While we’ve explored some of the third-party plugins, an officially supported solution would greatly simplify our security and user management workflows.
