Can't log into Nagios Web Interface

Hi

I have just deplopyed Nagios from the vmware OVF template and all is working fine......to a point!

I have setup networking etc. and web broswer is available but i simply can't log into the web interface. I dont get the option to change any setup option when I click on the "Access Nagios XI" on the inital web page it goes straight to the login. I have change the nagiosadmin password as per many other forums I have found. I have tried the password change via the linux serve rand via WINSCP and changing the password directly in the file. I have rebooted the server after each change.

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? I'm sure its simple but I can't work it out.

The first time you click "Access Nagios XI" it should have asked to complete the installation including asking for Administrator Password:.

You can reset the nagiosadmin password through the console by running the following

/usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/reset_nagiosadmin_password.php --password=NEWPASSWORD
