Nagios vs. other monitoring tools (SCOM, Tivoli, etc.)

Not sure if my question with this posting would be acceptable on this board but ...

For monitoring heterogeneous computing environments (Windows, AIX, Solaris, Linux, NetApp, EMC, etc.), does anyone have any cons and pros comparison of the Nagios XI edition over other solutions, especially SCOM and Tivoli?
