I am attempting to load nagios on my IBM Server running Red Hat for a EVAL. The loaders from sourceguardian are for I86 Linux
I found loaders from IONCUBE for PowerPC but cannot use them because nagios has scripts that need sourceguardian loaders
Is there anyway around this problem
sourceguardian loaders for PowerPC Linux
Re: sourceguardian loaders for PowerPC Linux
We only support x86 and just recently increased that to include x86_64. As for SG you will need to get this software as it's essential for protecting NagiosXI from fraudulent use.
Re: sourceguardian loaders for PowerPC Linux
Thanks. Management is now looking for a Server to allow me to install Red Hat I86 O/S. Since I am not a Linux guy yet (AIX) it has been fun loading Red Hat and all the required rpms for PPC (a lot of searching to get them) the last week and a half.
Once I have an I86 server I will start the process over with the hope it will be successful to allow us to start the Eval process

Re: sourceguardian loaders for PowerPC Linux
Perhaps you might be interested in using a kick-start file I put together? It's only been used once successful to build a LiveCD image and it's current start is unreleased beta. Though if kick start redhat install's float your boat...
The concept combines installation of the OS and NagiosXI into the same process.
