Upgrade from 32bit to 64bit

Post by oz123 »

Hello,

I want to upgrade my Nagiosxi 2012R1.2 into a 64bit machine.
I using centos 5.5 and my new machine is centos 6.3 vmware template with nagiosxi 2012 installed.
When I ran the restore_xi.sh on the new machine I'm getting a message regarding plugins and binaries that won't be restored because the backup is made on 32bit.
How do I restore them ? how can I verify that my upgrade completed successfuly ?

Thanks

We don't advise changing architectures, but in case this is the route you must take, please, review the "Things To Consider" section in our "Nagios XI – Backing Up and Restoring" document:

You will also have issues with the perfdata. Please, review this post as well:
