It didn't reset mine...
What version of XI are you running? I presume you mean the info icon in the list of hosts or services?

Just upgraded today:
Nagios XI Installation Profile
Nagios XI Version : 2012R1.2
[hostname] 2.6.32-220.13.1.el6.i686 i686
CentOS release 6.2 (Final)
Gnome Installed
When I'm in the CCM, I change the Limit Results to "none". Then I click the Bang (!) icon on any of my hosts or services and the screen reloads with Limit Results set to 15 again. Is this setting defaulted somewhere?

Yep that was a bug
unzip the attached file and place in
/usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components/ccm/page_templates
unzip the attached file and place in
/usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/components/ccm/page_templates
