Monitor windows-eventlogs?

Post by TobiasJ »

Good Morning,

first of all I want to notice, that I am kind of new to nagios.

My task is, to cover windows-events, like when someone logs onto a terminal server.

I already found some How-Tos and stuff, but they didnt work that well for me.

Are there any ideas?

Thanks in advance

I followed the instructions provided by the link. It is working for me, but i am also seeing thousands of errors in the Event Viewer under Application.

The description for Event ID 0 from source NagiosEventLog cannot be found. Either the component that raises this event is not installed on your local computer or the installation is corrupted. You can install or repair the component on the local computer.

If the event originated on another computer, the display information had to be saved with the event.

The following information was included with the event:

Error (0): Server closed connection before init packet was received

The specified resource type cannot be found in the image file

Is there a solution for this?
