cannot import MIBS

HI,

i would try to import mibs but i have this error

MIB could not be installed - directory permissions may be incorrect.


Can anyone help me ?

What MIB are you attempting to upload? What version of Nagios XI are you running?

For good measure lets run the following:

chown root:nagios /usr/share/snmp/mibs
chmod g+w /usr/share/snmp/mibs
Though it is already there as I showed you above.

This mib is already in the directory list you showed above, there is no need to re-upload it.

okay i have run the two commands.

now its to import the mib in Nagios.

I would like to monitor a APC USV

can you tell me how to import in nagios ?

when i run snmpwalk -v1 -c public localhost

i cannot see the mib
