this may sound like a trivial issue but finding a solution would help my customer.
We havea nagiosxi installation for a customer which has over 50 Hostgroups. Now this in itself is not a problem. The problem however is that he would like to break the "Status Summary For All Host Groups Dashlet" into multiple columns rather then one long column (default). Is this possible?

Not currently, though you could put in a feature request at http://tracker.nagios.com.
