Hey,
I'm trying to monitor a nagios server with a Windows 7 machine, using the nscp++ client ver 0.4.1.9
Problem is, when I run nscp.exe from the command line, it opens up a new command prompt window, and instantly closes after spewing some text.
I took a screenshot of the screen that pops up (just before it closes) and realized that it's doing the right thing. It shows the default help screen. However, it just instantly closes after that.
I ran the same nscp.exe on Windows XP and it works fine!
So why is it not working with Windows 7?
Is there something I need to do to make it work?
Is it even compatible?
Thanks for your time.

Re: NSCP++ Windows Client Closes Automatically
I believe you are talking about the tray icon, this is a very glitchy feature so most people use the nsc.ini file to configure NSClient++, on top of that we recommend using NSClient++ version 0.3.9 and not the most recent version which can be quite glitchy at times. What are you trying to configure for monitoring on the server? We can help you out with that but NSClient++ specific issues with features that do not always work should be asked about on the Nsclient++ website as we do not have control over the development.
