Printer monitors

Does anyone have any luck with a particular plugin to monitor printers. We have 100+ printers, mostly Lexmark T642's, Lanier and RICOH mfd's. I would like to monitor the toner, paper trays, etc. I lack the expertise in configuring plugins, but if something is working good for someone else, that would be a starting point. I have looked at a few at the Nagios exchasnge site.
