Greeting,
I have a couple of thousand devices that I need to add to Nagios XI. I would like to use the Parent/Child relationship to suppress unnecessary alerts, but looking for an easier way to propagate the parent nodes into the hosts. Currently I am using the CSV import module to import the devices, however there does not seem to be a way that I can add an additional column to the csv to import the parent node for the device. Does anyone know of an easy way to do this for a mass number of devices? The only way I can find right now is to add them one by one, and with over 2000 devices that is not a valid way.
Thanks for any help!

Re: Parent-child relationship
At this point I do not believe that there is a great way to modify or import in bulk, the parent/child relationships. However I have just submitted a feature requests for modifying the bulk import wizard to allow additional fields such as parents and hostgroups, as well as for the bulk mod tool to allow modifying or adding parents and hostgroups.
