is it possibile to add a new file object file (.cfg) for specific devices. For example I would like to monitor the ping service on IP cameras. Is it possible to create a camera.cfg file inside the object folder and then include it in nagios as separeted file?

I'm not familiar with this printer and haven't been able to find much for documentation. I would check with the vendor to see if they have SNMP OID's that can be monitored, then you can either check them with check_snmp, or write a plugin that can monitor them. I'm trying to set up a monitoring service for Zebra printers.
For other printer producers I haven't had any problems thanks to check_snmp_printer plugin, which returned a lot of information.
Has anyone any experience with this device?
