Sorry for this late response, I wasn't aware of the long lasting issue, and the fact that Nagios is lacking transparency and service. So we are reconsidering Nagios XI at the moment...

Hi, We moved Nagios XI 5.11.2 from CentOS 7 to RHEL 8 (also tried CentOS Stream 9 with same result) an ran into NRPE SSL errors. We monitor 100+ hosts so there is no quick solution on the client side. What can we do to solve this issue, preferably on the XI-server? Please see error messages from the...

Upgrade path

Hi there, what would be the upgrade path, when our server is still based on the old CentOS 7 Core appliance, but NLS is version 2.1.15? Is it possible to export the configuration of the current NLS, and import it to a freshly installatie CentOS 9 Stream appliance?

http_poller

For our developers we need http_poller to monitor ActiveMQ with the http_poller plugin. Can we use this on the NLS?

No additional FILTERING is applied besides the 'last 24 hour' filtering. We will open a support ticket.

Under Dashboards > Host I see nothing (see attached image). In the Host List that is applied to the user I see the allowed server as:

hostname ()

Could it be related to the fact it does not have a IP address associated with the hostname?

There is data coming in from this host as all users with Admin access can view the logs just fine. Attached you find the screenshots of the 'Host Lists' and 'Permissions' page. I obfuscated our domain with red marker. On the 'Dashboards' page there does not seem to be a 'host' link. It is only showi...
