I need to disable alert for all my services/hosts during network maintenance. I have about 200 services/hosts. I tried maintenance windows but still get the maintenance alert during and after. Is there a wayto disable all alerts during this time instead of shutdown nagios?

This is what I did but the things that is not working for me is that the admin still got flooded with message alerts for maintenance start and stop time. There were around 1500 email alerts. Is there a way to schedule maintenance without alerts?

Is there a way to disable alert for short period during maintenance windows? I have several hundreds host/service. I don't want to go and disable each individual host/service. Is there an easy way to to this, so all my admins don't get flooded with alerts message.

I usually able to clone a host/service but no longer able to. The error message does not tell me much. Please let me know how to fix, enclosed is a screenshot.

It is just a single distribution email.
where do i go to make changes for this single distribution email for all service/host when it is up and down?

I think it is easier to replace my email with a distribution email, that way it goes to me and someone else on that distribution email. Can you show me where all the places to change that for all alerts of hosts/services.

I don't have enterprise version of XI, therefore i have to do into each service/host to add notification? I have around 400 hosts/services. This is a pain. I created an user (Admin, Manage Users), now I want this new users to get all service/host notification. I just login as that user and go into that user profile and make sure everything is check and enable notifications. This is all I need?
