I just resolved this. Appears to be an error with the plugin itself, as it creates this file "/usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/components/vmware/VM01_auth.txt" but it puts the username and password on one line. I had to separate them and put them on seperate lines and BAM it works. Bug in the plugi...

Still getting the same error on a different box and different network. Running NagiosXI 2011r1.5 with the WMI plugin. Running the command manually from the cmdline spits out the original error. Any suggestions or updates?

The WMI errors as per original post have not stopped though, it appears it is still an issue?

Hello, Using the WMI plugin and getting this error randomly/sometimes. Restarting the server sometimes fixes. Any ideas or similar experiences?
