Re: PDAgent

Hi matson-itops , Thanks for reaching out. After doing a bit of research, I would definitely contact PagerDuty. Python 2 was EOL in 2020, so they should have a modern solution by now. After a few discussions with the "robot", it provided these suggestions, which may or may not be useful. 1...

Re: Nagios XI - Platform Migration from Oracle Linux 8.x to RHEL 8.x using convert2rhel

HI veeravamsi , Thanks for reaching out. I do not have experience with convert2rhel. We do have documentation on how to use the Backup/Restore process with an additional distro conversion step to bring in the correct binaries. XI 2024.x or 2026.x Backing Up and Restoring Nagios XI 2024 or 2026 If yo...

Re: Nagios Log Server - License do I need to apply

Hello mgalouzis , This version of NNA does not reach out to the internet. You should have received a new license key and you will have to enter it in the UI. If that does not resolve your issue or you didn't receive a license key, please reach out to csm@nagios.com and they can help you get it strai...

Re: Nagios Log Server - License do I need to apply

Hi @mgalouzis,

Thanks for reaching out. The title of your post says Nagios Log Server, while everything else is Nagios Network Analyzer, so just to verify, did you renew network analyzer or log server? Also what version are you using?

Re: SNMP walk job selecting OIDs

Hi Dave (@davemulv1),

Thanks for reaching out. What version of XI are you running?

There have been quite a few changes to the SNMP Walk jobs/wizards and if you are running an older version an upgrade may help.

Re: Unexpected error in "SNMP Walk Jobs"

Hi bergna , If you are still having this issue, you can change your theme in the database. Find the mysqlpass in the /usr/local/nagiosxi/etc/xi-sys.cfg file and copy the value assigned to it. Then execute the following command in a terminal or ssh session. I am assuming you need to change the theme ...

Re: Manual install of 2026r1.0.1-1 failing on RHEL 9 ./01-preregs

Hi Dave @davemulv1,

This is an install on a clean RHEL 9 system and registered with the Red Hat Subscription Manager?

The latest version of XI is 2026R1.2, release on 02/24/26. I would recommend using the latest version, since this issue may be resolved in a more recent version.
