It looks like the wrong DEB build got uploaded. The RPM is currently good and we will be uploading the correct DEB package shortly.
@bbahn
Let me know when the correct file is available for download. Thanks

I've installed this on an Ubuntu 22.04 server. I installed the deb file manually.

NCPA 3.2.0 Shared Libraries Failure

I installed the new NCPA 3.2.0 on one of my Ubuntu servers to see how it worked. When I restarted the service and making my ncpa.cfg configuration changes, the service failed to start up. It provided the following 'error while loading shared libraries: libcrypt-adfd3357.so.2: cannot open shared obje...

NagVis not working after 2024R1.3.3 upgrade

I'm running XI on an Ubuntu 22.04 server and just downloaded and upgraded to version 2024R1.3.3 from 2024R1.3.1. The install seemed to run fine, no issues after having to install a chromium-browser package. Once the upgrade was complete, I lost the ability to see my maps that were created in NagVis....

Re: IP address changing

What OS is your NagiosXI running on? For Ubuntu, look at netplan to set your static IP. For Windows, look at Settings>Network & Internet so change from DHCP to manual. Whatever OS you're running, make sure you don't assign an address already in use.

Re: Adding Juniper EX3400 Switch; SNMP fails

The only thing I saw related to snmp in the switch logs was an authentication failure. I've used the same template for about a year so I'm not sure how there could be an authentication issue. I rebooted the switch, removed snmp, committed config and then re-added my snmp template and committed again...

Adding Juniper EX3400 Switch; SNMP fails

I'm adding another Juniper EX3400 switch to our network and attempting to get it on NagiosXI but running into some issues. This is a switch that is daisy chained off another EX3400 switch that I added months ago. The existing switch is 192.168.66.12/27, the new switch is 192.168.66.13/27 and they're...

Re: Monitoring Engine Process not running

I'm also having this issue. I did a database repair and it says it succeeded. When I attempt to start the monitoring engine from the GUI, I get "An error occurred processing your request".

Re: Interface Status fails

Hi sawdusty , thanks for reaching out. The plugin check_if_operstatnag_by_variable is a part of the Switch Wizard. You can copy it to libexec, as follows. cd /usr/local/nagios/libexec /usr/local/nagiosxi/html/includes/configwizards/switch/plugins/check_if_operstatnag_by_variable . You may need to a...

RESOLVED: Interface Status fails

I just rebuilt my Nagios XI server and have re-entered all my devices. On all my network devices, for every interface that I'm monitoring the status check is failing. The error message states the following: (No output on stdout) stderr: execvp (usr/local/nagios/libexec/check_ifoperstatnag_by_variabl...
