Re: Data inconsistancy between db and config files
Anyone? I am sort of stuck here and not sure if I should be modifying the db directly.

Data inconsistancy between db and config files
Hey Guys, I had to remove about 30 hosts from nagios, I went into configurations and services, removed every service associated with the hosts, then went ahead and deleted the hosts. However, it looks like nagiosxi is still continuing to monitor those hosts. When I go back in services, I don't see t...

Disabling notifications remotely
I know there are few ways to use nagios commands in nagios core to disable notification during maintenance etc, is there a NagiosXI preferred way? I want to be able to disable notifications when certain operations run during the night and enable them when complete. Recurring downtime seems to be a g...

Making changes to multiple services
I want to make global changes to specific services, but I don't know of a good way to make a change in one shot vs clicking on each service. Is there a good solution for doing such operations? I guess I can always update mysql rows but I am not sure if thats a good approach.
Thanks
Thanks

Graphing custom monitors
How can we graph data from custom checks? For example, I have a check that checks for replication lag on a db, how do I graph this data? This is not mysql by the way but I do have the replication lag check working and alerting.
Thanks

check_mem reports warnings on idle nodes
Hey Guys, Looks like there is an issue with the check_memory plugin or maybe I am reading it wrong. For example, all of my ubuntu machines are alerting on warning however, my -w threshold is 20% and -c is 10. I even tried -w 85 and -c 90, thought its maybe reading incorrectly, but still same issues....

Re: Need help reverting back to old snapshot
Can you recommend another way for me to quickly clone existing hosts/services? I build model machines to clone for rest of the infrastructure. I don't mind trying out alternative ways if bulk won't work for me.
Thanks,
