Re: Globally Disable/Enable Notifications From The Command L
Ran the command and it gave every indication that it was working, but it didn't change the notifications between the on and off states. This is what we saw on our machine. We even did a reboot afterwards, just in case that was needed. What did we miss? # curl -d "cmd_mod=2&cmd_typ=11" ...

Globally Disable/Enable Notifications From The Command Line
Looking for two things specifically, through the command line and not the GUI. 1) Is there a command we can run from the command line to "Globally" turn on and off all the notifications? This would be the equivalent of going to the "Monitoring Engine Status" page and clicking &qu...

Send Email Alerts X # of Days After It's Been Acknowledged
How do we have Nagios XI, automatically start resending email alerts if no action has been taken on a problem that has been acknowledged? Specific example. A warning or Critical alert is acknowledged and the system stops sending email alerts. But the state of that problem hasn't changed in over a we...

Generating Test Email Alerts
Is there a way to generate a test email alert against hosts, without actually having to bring a server down? I do not want to do the one under My Account-->Notification Options-->Send Test Notifications That will only test that you can get an email. I'm trying to generate an email that actually pull...

Re: Notes In Alert Messages
Actually, what that document you referenced explains, I have working and that's not the issue. I can go into a host or service and get it configured to display the information I manually put into the variable without any problems. But the information displayed by that variable is not the same inform...

Re: Notes In Alert Messages
Thanks for the information. Let's address this next part. Because we'd like to be able to have Nagios XI pull notes from a file like it did in Nagios Core. This way instead of editing every single host if something changed slightly, we could edit the file and have the hosts get the information from ...

Re: Notes In Alert Messages
My current issue. In Nagios XI, if I choose to view a host in Nagios Core Home-->Host Detail--> Select any host Advanced Tab-->View In Nagios Core On that screen, it will display notes (see the highlighted previous post - Contact SUG@EITS). In our old Nagios core free version, before going to Nagios...
