I think i figured it out. I found a script online (hpovo_event_handler.pl) which uses a locally installed HP agent to pass nagios params to.

Testing it now...

Do any of you have information as to how we can integrate Nagios (XI) with an HP Openview instance?

I am using NagiosXI with Nagvis which is working fine. The only complaint I have is that when i click on my alarms they go to Nagios Core, not NagiosXI. Anybody have any experience with this?

I am sending passive alarms from Splunk to NagiosXI. This works wonderfully but I see no performance data in Nagios XI? Any idea how to enable via splunk?

Thanks. Yes its in trial mode for the next weeks.

..however, I found out the reason in that i had disabled the NDOutils broker and had mklivestatus broker running only. When I enabled them both then (and only then) could I see my passive checks in NagiosXI and Nagios.
