Re: CVE-2015-7547
We don't connect our PCs to the internet so we can't really yum update. And I don't want to try to run down all the dependencies for patching glibc. And rolling a CentOS repo isn't really an option for us. Virtual appliances can sort of skid by at our site because we get them from directly from the ...

Re: CVE-2015-7547
Hi hsmith, We are located in a secure facility and none of our servers talk to the outside world (i.e. no access). We do roll a yum repo but we downloaded Nagios XI as an appliance. I'm not even sure what operating system it is. Is there any documentation, like a walk through maybe; of fixing the vu...

Re: Downtime, HistoryTab.zip
hi lmiltchev,
Ah ok. So only way to see what you've done is either catting through the logs or the historytab? Nothing through the GUI?
Thanks

Downtime, HistoryTab.zip
Hi, Is historytab.zip the only way to see downtime you previously scheduled? I had a host that came out of a flexible downtime window about 12 hours later than scheduled. I was looking for a way to see what I set. I was scheduling a lot of downtime last week and I am sure I fat fingered it but I wan...

Re: Scheduling downtime
OK sorry guys so one last question. for 1 host I have that has 2 services (HTTP, SSH), I can "schedule downtime for all services for a particular host" and that will take care of the host as well? i.e. I don't have to schedule downtime on the actual host? Just wanna make sure this thing do...

Re: Scheduling downtime
So I had our senior guy try both his regular account and the nagiosadmin account and neither are working for him.
Standby, he says he found something... lol
OK he found something on my account that wasn't set properly. He set it, applied it and all seems well.

Re: Scheduling downtime
OK, just so I get the facts straight before I get other parties involved (I'm going to need to get the nagiosadmin password or have someone else do it).
This is a 10 year old bug that has been showing up from time to time and it looks like I'm having the same issue with it?
