Update MySQL8 on RedHat9
Hi, we recently upgraded our Operating system from RedHat 7 to RedHat 9. As described in NagiosXI documentation we installed a fresh NagiosXI and then we imported backup from old server. All fine now. The installation process installed MySQL 8.0.36 (previously we had MariaDB), that's ok, but now due...

Windows WMI config wizard 2.2.3 update
Hi, to mitigate CVE-2021-25296 on this page https://www.nagios.com/products/security/ I can see the following instructions: Upgrade the Windows WMI config wizard from Admin > Manage Config Wizards to version 2.2.3 or above. But from that page I have version 2.2.2 with no update available. I'm on Nag...

Re: send_nrdp.sh and newline in output
That's fantastic, enabling HTML in Admin config and using <br /> instead of \n now in Nagios XI UI I can see all the string in many rows. But in the email sent the <br /> are not interpreted, is it possible to solve also this? Service: Alarm Host: Host Address: IP State: WARNING Info: text br / text...

send_nrdp.sh and newline in output
Hi, I'm trying to use send_nrdp.sh to send passive result check to NagiosXI, the problem is that I need to insert a text with multiple line into the output, i.e. /usr/local/nrdp/clients/send_nrdp.sh -u http://ip/nrdp/ -t token -H hostname -s "Alarm" -S 1 -o "text \n text \n text"...

Re: Monitoring Engine not running after 5.7.3 update
An update: the checks seems to be running, as the email are arriving, but the UI shows they aren't working.

Monitoring Engine not running after 5.7.3 update
Hi, I updated to Nagios XI 5.7.3 but, after some hours Monitoring engine stopped and it's not possible to start it. I already downgraded NDO (I already had problems after upgraded to 5.7.1 and 5.7.2 and the support give me some commands to downgrade it) but Monitoring engine doesn't start. It's a st...

Force sequential checks on services
Hi, I know this argument has been discussed about 4 years ago from other users, but i would like to know if this feature was officially implemented or not. What I need is to force a sequential run of some service checks, to avoid them to run in parallel (or have a maximum number running in parallel)...

Re: Not possible to delete Scheduled Downtime
Hi,
we upgraded to 5.5.2 but we have the same problem. Is it possible to move the ticket under "Customer Support" section?
