Re: Cleaner not running

Sorry I had read that stack trace wrong the first time, let me try this again: Your main error seems to be this: PHP Fatal error: Uncaught ErrorException: stream_socket_client(): SSL operation failed with code 1. OpenSSL Error messages: error:0A000086:SSL routines::certificate verify failed Laminasm...

Re: What do you use for Windows Server monitoring?

FYI, you're not going to avoid problems switching to NCPA. You'll still have to deal with NCPA crashing or needing restarted, etc... just like WMI does. It is infrequent, but I do have issues with NCPA every once in a while where the service just stops or hangs and requires manual intervention. But ...

Re: Linux NCPA Wizard doesn't populate Plugins like on Windows

I'm sorry for the confusion. I don't know what happened that day, but everything is working fine when I checked on it today. You can close this one.

Linux NCPA Wizard doesn't populate Plugins like on Windows

I can't seem to get Linux machines running NCPA to pull a list of available plugins.
Windows is working but not linux. Is this a known issue or do I have something else going on?

Re: Neptune theme broken in last 2 releases?

If the upgrade was otherwise successful, there is one other thing the support team reported to us yesterday that you can check independently. First, take a system level backup (i.e. VM snapshot), since we're going to muck around in the database. In the Nagios XI terminal, look at the configured lan...

Neptune theme broken in last 2 releases?

I have a user who was happily using the new Neptune gui until the last 2 releases. If you try to log in with a user with that theme set, or you switch your account to that theme, you're met with a blank screen that some times shows a generic error and is some times just all blue. I have 2 completely...

Re: WMI Changes

WMI isn't changing. There is a CLI utility for managing WMI that is going away but only because it's being replaced by Powershell commandlets. Wayyyyyy too much Windows stuff relies on WMI for it to be drastically changed/broke/made incompatible. Source: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/wi...

Nagios mangles its own logrotate file

It looks like the latest version of XI is mangling the heck out of the nagiosxi logrotate file. After looking in to a disk space consumption issue I found that log files haven't been rotated in months. This is how the file sits on multiple systems I have checked, so there is a bug some where in the ...
