hi friend,
your load average looks fine, but your memory appears to be all used up. reports can sometimes take time to run, and do require resources.
could you please describe the issue you're facing in more detail? what are you noticing? what is nagios doing?

Re: NRDP stops sending emails - NagiosXi
assuming that the nrdp part is working properly, and firing to nagios - then i think the issue lies in mail somewhere. if you're using sendmail by default, and not a smtp server, then the phpmailer log is irrelevant as this is only used for smtp based settings. these two files might contain a timest...

you should see it in restore_xi.sh [root@localhost scripts]# cat restore_xi.sh|nl|grep themysqlpass 4 themysqlpass="nagiosxi" 164 mysqlpass="$themysqlpass" this doc may help - https://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagiosxi/docs/Changing-Default-Passwords-in-Nagios-XI.pdf

Re: eventhandler.log started filling up like crazy
i would expect this to happen on an outage as the queue will be out to processing. did this number work down with time? when you mention 41GB of perfdata - where on the filesystem is this located? what folder or file? this part depends if it's pre vs. post processing, or perhaps additional verbose l...

Re: NXI 5.4.10: Webinject is 1.41 but current is 1.94
hi gormank, it looks like XI may be packaged with the previous version still, it'd make a great feature request to get this updated. in the mean time, you should be able to download + update webinject yourself, and then reference the plugin to use your local copy vs. installed. then create and lever...

Re: Nagios core with AD Integration
lots of ways to accomplish this, that's what makes it fun. in the case you didn't want to run the mod_authnz_ldap route, you could also run a reverse proxy with LDAP auth. then map groups / users to different basic auth creds this way. heck, you could even write it into PHP and create your own mappi...

Re: Monitoring logs in remote server using nagios xi
i think a logging system is the best solution for this...but...if you want to use Nagios.
leverage an agent (check_nrpe, ssh, nsclient++, ncpa, wmi, etc.) - then use a plugin that will look at the log file, such as this for linux - https://nagios-plugins.org/doc/man/check_log.html

Re: log alerts via sms and email
hi Luke,
1. i don't think grouping is a feature at the time, but I could be wrong here. LDAP grouping is supported to map users, though.
2. yes, same concept files...use the email-to-text address. ie. 1234567890@vzw.txt.com
