No configure tab showing
Title pretty much says it all. This doesn't happen on all devices, just a select few even though they're seemingly identical to other devices that have the configure tab.
Re: No configure tab showing
You are probably signed in as a different user on some devices who does not have permission to configure Nagios XI. Double check that you are logged in as nagiosadmin or haven't been set to have read-only access.

Re: No configure tab showing
Logged in as nagiosadmin but the tab still doesn't show. The devices were imported via the Auto Discovery feature.

We'll see if we can replicate this tomorrow and get back to you.

Re: No configure tab showing
Just following up on this. Were you able to reproduce it?
Re: No configure tab showing
We haven't been able to reproduce your problem, so let's take a look at the most common things first. Do you get any errors and warnings when you run the Write Config Tool?

Make sure you don't have any duplicate host/service definitions. It is possible that you have some hosts/services that are "active" (that you can configure) and some that are not (maybe added twice through the Auto Discovery or maybe the cause was a renaming of a host/service).

Re: No configure tab showing
When we looked into this, there is logic handling in the XI interface to only show the Configure tab for hosts or services that can "simply" reconfigured directly from XI. I don't remember the conditions exactly, but there are some hosts and services, depending on their template and other relationships that require the CCM in order to be reconfigured.
