Bandwidth Graph and Status Information on Nagvis Graph

Post by zaji_nms »

Dear Expert

On the Nagvis graph (which showing live Status of the link via drawing the Service Line/Service Icon/Host Icon) its very okay, now on the same map, how we can add below

(a.) Performance Graph (Bandwidth Utilization) Temperature Graph
(b.) Status Information (Output of the Service) Humidity Value

Just assume that we monitoring our datacenter with router/switches, however want to add one (a.) Temperature graph and just one (b.) Humidity Value.
Please note Hover-it giving the value when we take our mouse on that Icon/Image but we want to monitor on big screen without any human intervention.

You most welcome to provide some link reference , document , however your some guideline in this post much appreciated too.

Version using = Nagvis 1.7 ,, XI2014 2.0

if not possible via GUI, please let me know what to add in mymap.cfg

Pretty far outside the scope of our expertise, but we'll of course try :D

So have you experimented with any of the NagVis gadgets? I'm certain that will be the tool you'll need to achieve both of the desired goals. I would suggest looking over them and seeing if you can find any that suit your needs and see if you can get them to work. If you run into any issues please reach back out to us.

The one thing I will caution heavily against is making any changes outside of the NagVis environment. Make sure to backup your system too. You're traversing territories unknown to Nagios personnel.

It looks like your other thread addresses that last question: https://support.nagios.com/forum/viewto ... 01#p155901

Please try to keep issues separate and in their own threads, otherwise we end up spending twice as much time replying to the same issue.
